The Solution: Photoexpress's adoption of Form Director
Photoexpress turned to Form Director, a Google Workspace add-on, to streamline their operations.
Form Director allows the company to collect images from customers through Google Forms and automatically store these images in designated Google Drive folders.
Implementation
Integration Setup: Photoexpress integrated Google Forms with Google Drive using Form Director. This setup allowed them to automatically create a new Google Drive folder for each form submission and store the attached images in the respective folder.
Custom Google Forms: Customized Google Forms were designed for customers to submit their images and other relevant details required for the creation of personalized products.
Automation: Upon form submission, Form Director automates the following tasks:
Creates a new folder in Google Drive named after the customer or order ID.
Stores the submitted images and files in the newly created folder.
Sends email notifications to both the customer and the production team with a link to the Google Drive folder containing the submitted files.
Email Notifications: Form Director's success notification feature was used to send templated email messages to customers, confirming the receipt of their images and order details.
